Highly reproductive gecko

phhb001 Oct 22, 2005 12:45 AM

I'm looking for a gecko, terrestrial or arboreal, with a high reproductive potential. I would need a species that is fairly easy to acquire, a hardy captive, and would reproduce year round. I have a few candidates, but I would like your input. Any suggestions? The species would be used for a research project.

Thanks,
PB

What sort of research? I think that should be your main concern....most geckos can breed year round but they must be kept in high end conditions in order for this to happen...

I just read an article that said white-lined geckos were just that...lotsa eggs and pretty hardy.
