You should look over one of the MANY het pied marker discussions in the past. I posted pictures of some of my normals with the markers, and some of my het pieds with them... then someone posted about 15 picturs with them... and told us to guess what they where... I think ONE was het pied.
As far as I am concerned, the marker means little to nothing. Some say about 80% het pieds have the markers... but then may of the normals do too.
One might be safe to say "If its het pied and doesnt have the markers, stay away from it. If its het pied and it does have it, there is a chance its het pied."
I personally feel the belly stripes are just some other trait all togeather, and not worth a wooden nickle.
