Nolvasan longevity

ballfan Oct 22, 2005 09:19 AM

I bought a gallon of Nolvasan about 2 years ago and use it to disinfect reptile tubs mixed with water and used in a spray bottle. One gallon goes a long way and I still have about half of the gallon left.

Does anyone here have information on the longevity of this product. Might it NOT be effective any longer?

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Ben

Unfortunately I don't have any information on this. You can try contacting local vet clinics that use it. If they don't know, they will be able to give you the contact # for the representative of the producer who will have answers for you. I am unaware of this product having an expiration date. If it is kept in the gallon jug, with the lid on, and is not contaminated then I don't think I'd worry. The dilutions in your spray bottles should only be lasting 1-2 weeks.
