Orange Spot Water

maynard Oct 22, 2005 12:24 PM

Does anyone know anything about "Orange Spot" water monitors? I recieved one on a trade from Tarpit reptiles in the spring. It is an awesome animal, but I can not find any info on locale or anything. If anyone knows anything of references to photos please let me know.

Thanks,
Justin

Well, I have seen a few advertised. Ben Siegel had some a while back. They were labeled as Jampea water's I believe. I may be wrong. But they had orange spots. Lets see some pics of yours.

Hello, that animal originated from me. I sold it to Dan awhile back. Glad to hear she is doing well.

Orange spot is just a name given to them in the trade. Locality is jampea they fall under varanus salvator salvator.

You can read some more posts about them at this Link

If you'd like to know anymore feel free to ask.

Is that her? Cause it looks just like her. With the exact same marking on the head. She was an incredible animal from the start and I can not say enough good things about doing business with Dan. I just couldn't find much info on them. Thanks for your reply.
