This girl was sold to be as a LTC normal ball python. She looks like a axantic to me.
I've compared her to a few proven axantic adults and this girl looks so much better. What do you guys think?

Nice normal. Very light but not axanthic.

Oh well. Shes one of my favorite "normals" anyway. LOL. Can't wait to put my blonde pastel with her.

Definately, with her light coloring you should get some nice pastels from that pairing. Good luck.

xan·thic (znthk)
adj.
1. Having a yellow or yellowish color.
2. Of or relating to xanthine.
Hence, axanthic refers to the lack of yellow. You can clearly see your (very nice) animal shows alot of yellow. Ideally, an axanthic Ball Python baby would only show shades of white to black. A classic VPI animal is silvery with black markings. As the animal matures it does take on more of a brownish appearance, but still nothing like a "normal".
