a beautiful classic jungle female. i know they haven't been proven to be genetic. but with a long term captive, you never know what you're going to get. well usually normals but there have been a few surprises out there. her first pairing will be with a vpi pastel next year. i'm still trying to fatten her up for a good sized clutch. but enough of that, here are some pics which show some of the classic jungle trademarks. the bright yellow pigment in the pattern, a nice abberant pattern and of course the full black mustache on the upper lip. opinions are always welcomed.

It looks like a pretty normal Ball to me, what makes you think it is anything but a normal?

how many normals have you seen with that nice black outline all the way across their upper lip. if you look at snake keeper's site and greg graziani's site, you can see their classic jungles and notice that they are not refered to as normals. the only thing that my classic jungle lacks here is the prominant spot on the top of her head. but she has every other trait that falls under the random mutation called a 'classic jungle'. to save everyone the trouble, here are the links:

Sure looks like you have a "classic jungle" but almost all ball pythons have one of the traits that makes up the "classic jungle" and some have more than one... I guess a classic jungle just has all of these traits??? They look to be non-genetic as far as Snake Keeper is concerned. Maybe you will get some nice pastels out of it.

Isn't this the second time you have posted this same thing??? This time its nice to see the pictures.

Turns out two of my het pieds have all the markers for classic jungle acording to Snake Keepers website. The head spot is a bit of a strech, but it is a bit lighter... Maybe I will get some classic jungle piebalds. I wont hold my breath.

it's a great looking snake. SK's pics are amazing, I've never seen such an intense light spot on the head.
Here's one of the "junglish" snakes I sold a month ago.
