I got my new beardie yesterday, I don't know exactly what morph it is, but it is a female. She is about 13 inches long. Before I took her home from the pet store, I made sure and looked her over really well. Her eyes are good and clear, she is very alert, she is remaining a dark color right now on her body, which I think might be from a little stress, and her vent also looked clear. Now, the question is about the mouth. I opened her mouth and looked inside, and what I saw were nice pink gums, and mouth, but I also noticed some liquid possibly her saliva was a yellow color. I asked the employee why this was, and she replied "I just fed them so it is probably from the crickets, and supplement." That seemed logical, so I went ahead and purchased the beardie. This morning, that yellow saliva/liquid is still present, but the gums and the rest of the mouth looked good. Any ideas??
