For those of you in Wilmas path - batten down the hatches - attach the emergency floaties to the tubs and stay safe.

We secured everything and took the plug out of the boat. Hopefully, all will go well. We are only expecting 75mph winds where I'm at so I'm hoping it will be in and out before any real trouble.

thought maybe the strong winds and upcoming storm would get things moving. Well not quite, just a few banded waters and a coral snake.

The only thing I'm worried about is if the power goes out and remains out. The temps are supposed to be in the low 50's/ high 40's at night. I'm trying to figure out what I will do with my snakes. Like Jay, my area is supposed to have sustained winds >74 mph, and we're already getting some flooding from the rain bands.

I survived here in melbourne but I don't have power. Got my computer room (where my snakes live too) powered with the generator! At least it's not 95 degrees like it was after frances last year!!
