it all depends on the amount of spots, and the background color. they could range from a few spots and a plain background color at 35 dollars, to a red super dalmations for 200 dollars.

that's not really a high price, some cresteds with very few spots can throw offspring with 3 or 4X as many spots as the adults have.

he may get more spots as he matures. $50 is not bad. Give him some time to grow and develop.

Don't feel bad either. When I first started with these guys I didn't know jack about their color development.

I paid $150 for a gorgeous blood red baby (3 weeks old). With in a few weeks it turned out to be a buckskin and then eventually developed a fairly heavy dalmation patterning as an adult.

I was told it would be a deep solid red. HMMM ... not exactly what I ended up with.

Off the classifieds, and then paid shipping....your going to be around 50 bucks, atleast. I think some people are charging 55 dollars for shipping on cresteds???? If you went to a reptile show hours from home and only paid 35 bucks, you'd still have to account for gas/food costs. So, all though wondering about price after you buy doesn't help much, in this case I don't think you can really come up much cheaper on a single animal purchase. Nice gecko, take care!
