feeding size

my blood python is about 20in and a little bite bigger than a half dallor coin around. what size mouse/rat should i feed him

Small rats (45-85grams) should be fine. Most people say no bigger than 1.5 times the width of the snakes body...I personally prefer to go by weight...no larger than 20% the snakes body weight.
