Normal vs Striped

I have 2 bloods that my fren says is striped but from the many pics that i've seen..they look like a normal morph...
are these striped or normal>?

The dorsal dot-dash and semi-stripe patterns are very common for blood pythons. Is THAT normal, yes, are your snakes normal blood pythons, IMO all bloods are semi-morphs, they all have a very different pattern and color scheme. You wont find 2 exactly alike, and that in itself makes eash individual special.

Just for comparison, here is my normal girl. Neither of her parents were striped, and none of her siblings (last year or from same pairing this year) were striped. She's still gorgeous though, and although I know its not genetic, I LOVE that stripe!!!

so i guess it all depends on the degree of striping and you can't really draw a line between striped and normal? is there's a specific gene for the striped trait?
kinda subjective coz the pricing for 'striped' bloods are much more than normal

Yes, there are true genetic striped bloods. I think they have thicker, wider stripes??? But you can get the thick stripe without the genetics too... They're just that variable.
