Enclosure

What size enclosure would anyone give a western hognose. I've got one 2ft wide, 1ft deep and high but I think it's too small.

Depends on size. Adults in a 20 gal is fine. yearlings to sub adult will work in a 10 gal. (This is just what I use and works fine)

Sounds like you have a 10 gallon. Hogs like it hot, but they must be provided with the ability to get cool when they need to. I strongly believe that a proper thermogradient can not be acheived in a 10g. A 20 g doesn't take up that much more space and doesn't cost that much more money. Check out the link for more details.
