Duty calls, and so I have to be at the Virginia Herp Society on Saturday in Lynchburg. Giving 2 presentations so that cuts out my whole weekend.
When I went 2 yrs ago I was disappointed in the show. A lot of vendors didn't show and the deals on supplies were non-existent. For this area, it is a good place to see hogs, that was the first place I saw a tri-color. I usually just wind up walking around and talking, patting on the back the people who run the rescues, and harassing the vendors who sell burmese pythons and hatchling turtles to oblivious people, who make more work for the people running the rescues!

i plan on being there. maybe i'll find someone to help me document the Scarlet Kings my friend and i have been finding. it's pretty apparent that nobody in the VHS wants to help me. LOL!

Well since it looks like some of us is going, would be good to say high Colchicne.. I'll be wearing bluish T-shirt with greenish frogs on it, and jeans/tennis shoes. Greg Woodie knows me so if you meet with Greg at some point, I'll see you there.

those are some pretty scarlets.i have been told that they have been seen here in Lunenburg Cty. ,but i would have guessed they were scarlet snakes in the past.now i am thinking differently. jeff
