more eggs.... no copulation.

Hey everyone.
about 2 month ago my female diego suarez laid 10 eggs, now 2 month later she laid 23 new eggs. I know it is normal for a female to retain sperm. now my question is: what are the chances that the eggs are fertile?
if infertile how soon will the eggs go bad?

hope to hear lots of replies for you guys.

best regards

My female was bred once and laid a clutch of 50 in February all fertile (1 hatched but I messed up with mositure and the rest were full term but dead), then 2 months later laid a clutch of 42, all hatched, and 2 months later laid a clutch of 32 with 10 fertile and 22 infertile. I saw signs of them being infertile in the first week I believe.
Signs may not appear that soon but soon enough they will.

thanks for the reply. you wrote that "you messed with mositure" what did you do wrong? I have heard for more than you that babies die full term, and I would be sorry to make that same error.

It was my first clutch and I thought things were too dry. I added way more water than I should..
One hatched out, another died half way out of the egg and the rest started sweating and then collasped and died.
I was curious so once I slit the dead eggs I squeezed the vermiculate and it was soaked.
I learned from this on the current clutch and left things alone.
