whenever i put my cornsnake and my ball pythons on my bed, my corn starts to twitch and move very slowly, but its only when another snake is on top of him.

is my corn trying to breed? if so is this a way i can tell if its a male or female?

Males and females both exhibit this behaviour, although it's very late in the year for mating.

They also twitch if they're trying to establish dominance or are nervous. Two males together will sometimes do this.

I'd say in the example you describe, your Corn is spooked by being so near another snake and is trying to play the tough guy as a warning. Next step is a bite, so maybe best to get them out separately in future.

thanks, i wont hold them together anymore, i did notice a fewtimes it did seem like he was a bit jumpy at times and looked like he was furius.

i noticed he wont do that around my hatchling corn

that snake did bite my cat once, i was itting in the recliner and the cat jumped up into my lap, purred and rubbed up against the snake and licked him. then out of nowhere he lurched out and bit the cat in the face!

it was the first day i had him so he was probably alittle stressed
