AVERAGE THAYERI TEMP?

WHAT DOES EVERYONE KEEP THEIR THAYERI TEMPS ? I KEEP MINE IN THE MID 80S AND WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE DOES

You might be better off asking in the thayeri forum . Those guys are a lot of help and many are thayeri breeders.

I keep a Ruthven king . At the risk of sounding anal which I am lol . He seems to prefer 80 to 82 max during day and mid 70s at night.

Adam,

During the breeding/normal season I keep mine between 75-85 degrees. On really hot days my snake room has reached 90 but 98% of the time its between 75-85 degrees. When I put my snakes down for burmation I keep my snake room between 45-55. I've had it get up to 60 during hot days in the winter here in NM. I try and keep my snakes that are not being brumated at those same 75-85 temp during the winter.

BTW I met some of your friends at the NM reptile Expo here in Albuquerque last weekend. I saw that female thayeri they got for you. Good luck with your variable kings.
