Will a female cool herself ?

My female is at the cool side of her cage and under the bedding as far away from the heat as she can. The warm side is 85

Yes they often will lay on the cool side when their getting ready to ovulate, sometimes even wrapping their waterbowls. However you may want to bump up the temps on your 'warm' side to the low 90's at least during the day.
