radiant heat pannels????anyone with experience??

mrcat997 Oct 25, 2005 04:01 PM

im looking to heat a vivarium from the outside.im already using all the available space on top for lighting and im using florecents so they dont give off much heat.the floor has lots of substrate and plants so heating it from underneath will not work enough.oh by the way the entire cage is made of glass.that leaves the 2 sides available.id like to use radiant heat pannels but i have no experience with them.can they be used on the outside of glass facing in,or do they have to be used on the inside of the enclosure???

They absolutely should be used inside of the cage. Especially with a glass cage.
