drunk tomato frog!?

nick3031 Oct 25, 2005 04:48 PM

have had my tomato frog for bout a year now, really big, nice and red, excellent condition! however resently he keeps falling on his back! sometimes when trying to leave his waterbowl and sometimes just randomly on his soil. Its very strange, he is unable to flip bk up, so i have to turn him bk over! it doesnt seem to bother him, lying on his back, but was just wondering if there was a reason for it, or do i just have a drunk or clumsy tomato frog?!
Thanks

Maybe a neurological disorder?

See if you can make the substrate slope to a certain degree. That should help him right himself. Also make sure the water bowl isn't too deep in case he does that while in there.
Not sure what the cause is though. My horned frogs used to get flipped over occasionally if they were riled up and moving around, never that often though.
