normal for a baby Sav to have a BLUE TONGUE????

tristan Oct 25, 2005 07:05 PM

Hi everyone,
I was curious if anyone has ever seen a sav with a blue tongue before? (do all babies have this?!? is this rare?!?) This animal is not mine but might be mine soon....
Oh, one more question. The owner says that it doesn't like to be handled. It's still fairly small, say 10".
How easy are they to tame down?
Any input would be appreciatd. Thanks
Tristan

Yes that is the normal color. As monitors mature they seem to calm down. Hatchlings are normally more skidish because of ther vulnerability.

Yep. Completely normal to have a blue tongue
