pics of my snake room

kirkpatrick Oct 25, 2005 07:06 PM

Took some pics and just felt like sharing. The room used to be completely full of aquariums before i bought the racks. It was a great idea, saves so much room. Now i even have empty rack space which means more snakes! I don't have any kings from out east. Gotta look into that. Well a little about the room on the north wall is a mini fridge i converted into an incubator and a custom cage that i built. also got t.v. and d.v.d. in there mostly for watching south park or listening to in flames. my snakes are heavy metal all the way (not to loud though). anyway thanks for looking. hope you enjoy. post yours if you have pics.

In your second pic I see an aquarium with an excersise wheel in it and bedding also. Is that a hampster or your favorite rat?

no just a couple dirty paper towels. i was cleaning yesterday and filled the trash. i use the cage for when i buy alot of live mice that i need to house for a while. but there was a small rat in there for the last week that no one would eat. but then i gave it to my male jungle corn. he eats anything.

Hey, i just have 1 question, what do use to heat your snakes?

three of the racks are from animal plastics and are heated by a heat cable. the small nicer looking rack is heat with 3" heat tape. the big stack is heated by head pads. those two are from boaphile. and the custom cage i built has heat lamps in the back. oh yea everything is hooked up to its own helix.
