If you plan on building more than one cage or will do so in the future then I recommend purchasing the mininum order from Outwater Plastics.
I don't remember what their minimum order is. You should check and let us know. I don't think it's unreasonable and may be cheaper than what you'll pay for only 4' of upper and lower track with shipping from Rockler or Do It Best Harware. You might be able to sell the extra to friends or through a local herp club.
Some people are able to find it locally, others are not. Try Glass shops and woodworking shops.

Thanks for your information. I looked at outwater plastics and here is what I found: the order must be $25.00 min. and the sliding door tracks come in 12' pieces. There are many sizes and they cost 0.52/foot for 1/8" track and 0.57 for 1/4" track. These prices are good up to 100' and then the price is cheaper. I haven't found out cost for shipping yet. As for Rockler, it is 10.99 for 4' with 1/4" track and shipping is 5.75 for an order that is less than 25.00. I plan to check out do it best hardware and I will let folks know the details on that. Thank you very much for all of your help.
