Here's the sit. The pet store by my house has been kind of flakey with rat stock lately. I have a female that I just got eating a couple of weeks ago who only takes mice (so far). When I was feeding her last night my male who I just moved up from my moms and has fed exclusively on rats was acting kind of funny. He never leaves his hide boxes except late at night when he thinks no one is looking and when I throw in a rat. When I fed my girl last night around 4:30 pm, he stuck his head right out, tounge flicking away, obviously having caught the scent. I am wondering; if I feed him mice untill the pet store gets its act together how easy will it be to get him back on the much larger rats. Sorry for being a little wordy and thanks in advance for replies. Please don't recomend raising my own rats, it's been hard enough to get my girl friend used to having them in the house long enough to feed my snakes never mind living with us. She also will not allow me to keep them frozen in the freezer.
