Looking at a Canon PowerShot S2 IS for point-and-shoot and field photography.

Good, bad?

. I can tell you my older brother has an S2 and, what little I have played with it, it seems like a very nice P&S.

Thats a very nice camera. But at 10X or 12X zoom, you will need a tripod. Only think I don't like about it is the AAA batteries, but Canon does make a AAA recharge pack that you can use with it, its about 40 bucks. But that Camera is solid, only thing better is a Digital SLR.
