What do you do when you're ready to change up your tank, or your UTH stops working? I inherited a tank with one of those adhesive ones, and I don't know how to remove it. Can you just pull it off? It can't be stuck there for life, but I read on a website that there is no way to remove it once its on...

Just rip it off. Once it is removed you can't reuse it. As far as replacing alot of people use heat tape. Personally I use heat rope. You need to be a little handy and have tools to use heat rope though.

I took mine off and reused it using silver machine tape and it works fine
