During the "cold" snap here in Florida, my youngest daughter brought me the mail. On the back side of an envelope was one of the brown anoles so common around here.
We've had anoles in the house before, so I didn;t think much of it when this small one jumped onto my desk. Imagine my surprise, though, to find the anole *living* in my year-old iguana's cage! The anole, now known as brownie, has been in and on the ig's enclosure for four days now, and shows no sign of leaving.
Iguanasaurus Rex sometimes watches the anole, but otherwise leaves it alone.
The anole is in the upper right-hand corner of the attached picture, while Rex basks in the lower-left.
