hello,
with a group of people i am doing a respot on the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox). since half of my sources have to bee book sources what would you guys reccomend as great sources?

also could any of you post some really nice head shots of your snakes. or any other picture so we can show the class the tell tell differencdes between them and say other rattle snakes.

I am not sure what a "respot" is, but some classic texts for rattlesnakes are:

Klauber's two Volume set: The rattlesnakes, their life history, etc etc....

Manny Rubio's Rattlesnakes Portrait of a Predator

Lamar and Campbell's Venomous snakes of Latin America

Biology of the Pit Vipers.

Look in the Lit. Cit. section of these books for many more sources.
