i have two garters housed together. is the albino more sensitive to the light from the daylight basking bulb? I only run the daybulb for about 5 hours a day. i have a night heat bulb that i use the rest of the day...and an undertank heating pad at night.
can i put a flourecent lightstrip on the cage without bothering the albino?

I have heard of certain lighting affecting albino turtles. Never of snakes though.

Albino or not, I'd recommend lots of convienent hides so a snake can get out of the direct rays if it desires. This may be a bit more pertinent with albinos.
