This is my trio of savanna monitors.I posted the really light one and the red one the other in hopes to get some feedback on sexes. The last one in my group is also undetermined as far as sex.HE/she, is all grey and white with no other colors on him at all. I realize none of these have been bred so there genetics are undetermined, but, the best descrition for the trio are hypo, anery, and ....well ...red. (xanthic?)
Anyway, I have been sizing them up there whole lives that I have had them (juveniles and hatchlings) and still can't make an uneducated guess on sexes. The grey one has a huge head, but a roundish tail and no bulges. The red one has a huge bulge in the tail but a tiny, female looking head? The bulge in it's tail starts about an inch past it's vent? It seems like it should start closer to the vent...doesn't it?
If you all would be so kind as to enlighten me on these sav's sexes and what you think of them looks wise (healthy, fat, skinny, color) I would be highly appreciative.
Thanks!
