A study in the Journal of Herp Medicine and Surgery states that captive bred grey crickets (Acheta domesticus) are not a source of oxyurids in reptiles.

2500 crickets were ordered from commonly used food supply companies, emulsified, and then spun down to seperate the contents. No evidence of this parasite were discovered.
