I *think* this snake is probably Ptyas mucosus, but I don't know much about the Ptyas other than not many people keep them and they are rear-fanged. The photo is from Regal Reptiles.

All I know is it was labeled as an "asian" rat snake. Any ideas?

Elaphe flavolineata, a Black Copper Rat Snake from China I believe? I have one and it does well on rodents.

I think you're right, I'll get a better photo when it arrives here. It's feeding on live mice right now. From what I've found, flavolineatas are also called "Black-tailed Racers" and "Black-tailed Rat snakes". Regardless, they sure look like an interesting species to work with, I've never seen one before.

Nevermind, I finally figured it out after looking up more info. It's Elaphe flavolineata. Need a better photo!
