This little snake ate tonight also and will shed very soon, she just "cleared up" from feeling blue. Of all the babies I've seen with the exception of a Clark Special male from last year her color is brilliant. This is a Tim Frazier baby.
This is my "Special" baby from this year's offspring. It is the one most oddly patterned with the kinked tail. This is the only year that I've got babies from 3 totally different lineages. I like to compare their color to each other.
.....You have some very nice Rainbow Boas. I like this first one best. Those crescents are great.
.....It amazes me that so many people assume that snake keeping is solely a man's hobby. There are many women who post on the kingsnake.com forums. Last year I made more individual sales of Rainbow Boas to women than to men. Most of my wholesale sales are to men but I think that will change as time goes by.

that lil girl looks familiar somehow...
Glad she held onto her load till she got there, I was hoping the trip wasn't going to induce her into making a mess. I thought her shed cycle was why she went over two weeks between swallow and coming out the other end.
Linda was number one on my bullseye list for 2005 and had first choice of babies. (well actually second choice after me) My last litter has a couple with a few bullseyes each and MANY of the litter have very strong thick crescents....more like horseshoes. They've started shedding today, will get a better look now..
Same pairing that produced this one last year:
