A Lost Pic! Hmm....

HerperHelmz Oct 28, 2005 06:47 PM

I found a pic earlier that I don't believe I ever posted here. I like it, one of my best pics no doubt. Mr. Hubbs was going to use it in one of his new kingsnake books but I don't have the resources to put pictures onto CDs.

Glad you posted it. Sweet looking little albino Cal king.

Here's one I don't think I've posted here before.

LOL Thats a good one Steve "BRILLIANT". Thanks for the compliment too. I'm a real MSP thayeri freak too. I've always like milksnakes and you hit the nail on the head. Milksnake phase thayeri are darned tough to beat.

Mark- Crimsonking, that was part of the reason I posted my pic. I really like to take pics of the snakes with a natural background. It just seems to me that an unnatural background takes something away from an absolutley great looking snake.

I may get back into some albinos but it's hard to find the pure white and yellow ones these days. Seems like everyone wants the lavender look.
Hubbs is pretty adamant about not using "artificial" backrounds like rubbermaids, aspen etc. I think Mike...

A while back... I emailed Brian a bunch of links to pics, highlighting the best ones for him to see. To see if he would be interested in any of them. He said he only checked out a couple, but all of the pics I sent him were snakes feeding on newspaper... Except for one of a eastern king eating a brown snake on aspen.

And I'm not particularly a fan of "lavender albino" cali kings, I think they actually look quite ugly. The one in the pic I posted is white and yellow right now. You should get some blizzards, those are nice.
