i have been reading some reptile websites based in england and it seems that they have a few reptile heaters that are not available in the USA.one is called a heat plate and is supposed to be a flat disk that lays on the top of an enclsure and heats the cage.kinda like a ceramic heater but takes up much less space and maybe doesnt burn to the touch.then there is another thing called a microceramic heater.i have no idea how this thing works but its supposed to be pretty expensive compared to other reptile heaters.england is funny in the sence that they seem to get all the new herp products way before we do.i once read somewhere that they were using ceramic heaters for reptiles for years before we ever knew what they were.just curious if anyone else has heard of these things of if they are available yet in the states.
