Probably just needs time to get used to her new home. How old is she? I'm assuming if she's sexed she's a year old or older. I wouldn't worry too much. Just give her some time.

A couple things, I don't usually offer any of my arboreal snakes meals while they are on the ground. I would allow a snake of ANY species up to a week to settle in and get used to it's new surroundings.

Do you have a temp gun to check the temps? Find out what her actual body temp is, and her "perching" locations. It's a lot harder to regulate in glass enclosures. It can be done, but you'll have to work at it a bit harder.

Congrats on your new gtp, hope she does great for you!!

thanks for the info. what should her temp be with the gun. so dont feed her again until she moves to the branch.

THANKS MIKE

Hey,
If she ate, that is all that matters. Sometimes they enjoy grouding them selves. I don't know what your set up looks like, but they do this from time to time. If this is a new animal or acquisition give her some time to settle in. She ate and that's a big hurdle in your favor.
