Thought I'd share a few pics of a wild caught, wounded, Yellow Bellied Racer. Looks like hawk talon wounds. Seems to be doing pretty well. These pics don't do him justice though. He is the brightest colored racer I have ever seen. Caught in south central Kansas area. Enjoy!!

I hope you can save him. He looks pretty healthy other than the wounds. I wouldsuggest tea tree salve if you can get it. It's wonderful for snakes because it doesn't aggravate the wound, but keep it clean and soothes it. I used it on my wounded Hognose I had. It helped heal her fairly quickly.
