My Kenyan Sand Boa is a zombie!!!!

tywatley Oct 29, 2005 04:32 PM

My kenyan sand boa escaped in June of this year while we were on vacation. It is a female, 100% het for snowflake albino kenyan sand boa. We presumed it was dead. Well, yesterday, as I was getting ready for school, I saw the familiar black and orange pattern and rushed out the door. I picked my long lost snake up, but was heartbroken when it stayed limp and did not move. I brought it back inside to show my dad, and he told me to put it on top of the spotted python cage and shine its light on it for a minute. I did this, and after a minute its tail twitched and it, um, took a, um, poop. Now we have the snake in a well heated terrarium that we dried really well. Her only problem now is a little belly rot from the dampness over the summer.
