California People (again)

LadyOhh Oct 29, 2005 06:47 PM

Since the previous post was deleted, I wanted to give anyone else a chance (and maybe another opportunity) to claim thier California locations.

I am Claremont based and in San Francisco sometimes

Anyone else?

I am in Manteca and am in S.F. and the bay all of the time, I work for a beer mazazine and multiple microbreweries. So in essence I get paid to drink.

Maybe because it had nothing to do with snakes? Just a thought, not trying to be rude.

toshamc Oct 29, 2005 07:09 PM

Not trying to be rude - right back at you - but since when is it against the TOS to post something off topic? It's not - the whole post was deleted because the original post was considered an advertisement and those are not allowed on the forum.

""Advertising, except for events, is not allowed in the discussion forums, photo galleries, or chat rooms. The intention behind this rule is to keep commercial transactions off our discussion forums, photo galleries, or chat rooms and not to prevent our users from sharing useful resources with each other. "Advertising" generally means the solicitation or statement that you have animals and/or items that are for sale, trade, wanted, free/being given away, stud service, or for adoption. Advertising also covers promotion of websites, newsletters, products, etc."

The post had to do with a Rack System, I didn't think posting it on the forum was against TOS especially since it was being offered for free. I posted it now in the Classifieds under Cages etc.

I guess you haven't read the site rules in a while. Taken from the ever cluttered TOS - note the particular section I highlighted:

"Advertising, except for events, is not allowed in the discussion forums, photo galleries, or chat rooms. The intention behind this rule is to keep commercial transactions off our discussion forums, photo galleries, or chat rooms and not to prevent our users from sharing useful resources with each other.

Sounds great, weve probably encountered each other some where around town. Might be surprised. All of us So. Cal. gals should try to get together. That could be a lot of fun.

So, seeing as I have never been to California (nor has my bp) I was wondering if any of you all are ball to keep them in an outside enclosure much?

There the subject of ball pythons had officially entered the thread. Sorry to interupt, you may now return to your thread already in progress.

Southern California is essentially a desert - pretty dry - and we do get some temperature fluxuations - so an outside cage is not a really good option. Tho with the humidity we have been getting in the summer months lately its almost starting to feel like Florida here. LOL

Is this "Clairemont" near San Diego or "Claremont" right next to Montclair, CA? If the latter, come by and say HI!
