OK, I know I should wait until I actually have this snake in my possesion (a trade is in the works to get the snake I need to trade for the garter) so I can post some pictures but I just saw the snake for the first time today (after weeks of descriptions) and I am very excited. Essentially it is a pink (actually dark red) eyed eastern with no greens or yellows. All the stripes are there but everything is for the most part brown to tan. Looks almost like a striped brown snake (but it is a garter I know that for sure) the guy found it in SE Wisconsin. Its like nothing else I've ever seen in a garter snake. I can't wait to get some pictures.
