Cycling together or apart

vegasbilly Oct 30, 2005 12:19 AM

I've heard of people cycling their Chondros together with some success though the generally accepted wisdom is to keep them separated and introduce "when ready".

Why does cycling together seem to be frowned upon by so many? Is it detrimental to successful breeding?

Thanks,

Bill

theres records from differnt breeders showing that it indeed lessons your sucess.

It's not "frowned upon" at all. People just want a high sucess rate when breeding animals together. Differnt things work for differnt people and animals.

Point being, do what you want. No one is going to think less of you or your actions because you go against popular ideas. However, im a firm beliver in sticking to the book as it's already been written, tried and tested by many.
