First EVER Amarillo TX show Ends Oct 30th...

NorthernRegius Oct 30, 2005 01:15 AM

I’ve just returned from my first ever Reptile Show in Amarillo, TX. It was the first time they’ve put on a show there & I hope not the last. I had an excellent time meeting some of the wonderful people that I’ve come to know from the Kingsnake & Bcforums- shout out to Lynn from Lynn’s Bearded Dragons; Both Jasons from KC Reptiles & GoLizards; Don from Shores Enuff Snakes; & more… I’m so happy I got to meet everyone!

The show is cozy & lacking a frozen rodent vender; but there are quite a few animals to choose from nonetheless. I had gone to meet people & to pick up some rodents & was tempted by an outstanding blood & one of the nicest Biaks that sat comfortably in my hand, calmly looking me over… (Jason “she” is AWESOME!). I also got to hold one of the best looking albino Boas I’ve ever seen!

There are several wonderful examples of Kingsnakes, Cornsnakes, Jungle Corns, Afrocks, Boas and a few Ball Pythons, Burms & ‘Tics . Even a Caiman (full grown) is available. The show will be finishing up today on the 30th, so if you are in the area, check it out. You’ll be glad you did!

You're right, it was a good show. Saw lots of cool stuff, and I hope they do it again! I'd like to say thanks to Jim over at Riverbend Reptiles for the killer deal on the 04 female ball he sold me on Sat. with the little map turtle. I'd also like to thank Jason at Go Lizzards for the sweet deal he shot me on the three 05 female balls this morning. That little reduced pattern has some nice color! I can't wait to put her to work. You guys rock! Thanks again.
