My Jalisco didn't eat on schedule (2nd feeding since I got him) last Wednesday. Tried again like Thurs/Fri. Today I broke down and tried to brain a pinkie. Not sure if I got it right, but it was good enough for him to eat it in his deli cup. I flamed my box cutter to sterilize it, then slit the head open. I didn't see any gray matter, just a bunch of goo that looked like snot. I guess it was good enough, like I said...

However, even that still hasn't worked for my son's Gray Banded King Snake, who's gone 3 weeks now without a meal...

..or even just a lizard for the alterna...have you got the reptiles magazine issue with the geen tree python on the cover?(came out last month)...has some very good/proven tricks/tips on feeding problematic feeders,e.g. baby gray banded kings....one good trick is the juice from a freshly broken tail of a house gecko,etc.-wipe it on the snout of the pinky,they like that...but go get that issue,well worth the cost

My son's grey-banded ate today for the first time for us (3 weeks fasting...)

I had to hold her in one hand and waved the pinkie in her face with a pliers. She struck a couple times, then wanted to avoid it, then struck and started swallowing... HOORAY! We cupped her and she finished it off...

We are greatly relieved.

Have you considered going to a pet store getting some lizard shed skins/pieces of skins .
I read they work for some if pinkie left in deli cup with the skins for awhile or piece of shed skin wrapped around dead pinkie.
