At risk of breakageI'm taking pics of these little crinkley, seal brown, earthworm-looking guys. They looked black in the group pic, but they really are a dark brown...right now. Their tummies are lighter - kind of beige. I can't wait to see what they look like after their first shed.

Hmmmmm......do you see any resemblence???

(I don't know how), we are left to guess at the coloration from new born on. But imagine how incredibly awesome it would be to watch them take their first shed and turn PURPLE!

How about a Super Salmon Super Motley...??? Is that possible?? I am looking forward to a completly patternless glowing red boa!!

How long until we see Pied boas produced?? Any info out there? Andy

Last year in Jeremy's litter that had the purple patternless (Super Motley), there were three stillborn supers. Two Purples, and one HYPO SUPER. It was RED, solid and beautiful, but stillborn.

I am not a morph fanatic, but I must say a big solid black dark boa is pretty cool. Nice animals Linda!

Im very happy for you Linda to get them. I was waiting for this breeding so much to see the brown, black boas...
Well what i think is that they look the same as the supers from the central american motleys. In my opinion the color of the supers is just a question of how dark are the parents are and their "gens". Maybe its also question of time and they will be more brown then black when they will grow up... just like Jeremy said that his adult male is platinum. Anyway what i think is that no matter if we cross centrals or columbians the result will be light brown, dark brown or almoust black. Also in my opinion centralxcolumbian will do the same. I dont know if anybody has done this before but im sure that in the near future someone will do that...
Good luck with them and keep posting the pix.
