There doesnt seem to be a great deal of info on Tegus

Ive googled it and cant seem to come up with much.Other than very basic caresheets.What about more indepth info on hibernating or problems that could occur such as not eating or diseases or even breeding if one was interested?

Contacting breeders, or on this forum, it is fairly slow here but most will answer as soon as they can, you could always hop on the monitors forum, alot of them keep tegus also. Other than that, try thetegu.com alot of experienced people are on that site, I wouldnt read any books most are outdated or simply inaccurate,

If you do searches in this forum you'll find years worth of archived information. Some of the info is great...some of it not so good. It's up to you to determine what's what. And obviously if you read something that's questionable, you can always post and ask for other opinions. But even with the most current of info you'll find that different people have different opinions around here. The more you read the more you'll learn no matter what though.
