O.k. so my male vieled chameleon Stitch, does not eat crickets. In fact he hates them! So he is on a silkworm and king worm diet. So yesterday, I had taken out too many crickets to feed to the others and I decided to see if Stitch would want any of the left overs. I put the cup in his cage and he went for them, probably thinking it was his lucky day for a kingworm, he slinked down in hunting mode and zapped one up, no sooner then it hit his mouth, he spit it out and was licking his lips trying to get the legs out. He gave me the stare down the whole rest of the day. I put 2 kingworms in his cage as sort of a "I'm sorry I tricked you" treat, but he would just stare at me, like "how dare you!". This morning I gave him a horn worm and some silk worms, but he was very cautious to check them out before eating them. It's been about 8 months since he's been on his silky diet, but he won't forget the taste of the nasty crickets!

I just don't want them to get lazy tounges from such an easy prey so I always make sure they get a few crickets first, then I break out the goods!
