genetics question

UAWPrez Oct 31, 2005 08:35 PM

If two 100% hets for albino mate, what will the resulting clutch consist of? Half of them normal looking but het and half albino? Does anyone know of a good website you could refer me to so I can learn more about how the genetics of ball pythons work?
Thanks,
Kirk

This is a very good basic website about genetics - once you grasp this you can go on to more technical stuff. There is a link that will lead you to a detailed explanation from Randy Remmington - that is quite useful also.

To answer your question - you'd get an albino (maybe a couple of them) and the rest would be hets and normals.
