Elaphe flavolineata/flavolineatus?

chaoscat Nov 01, 2005 12:04 PM

I haven't been able to find much on these beautiful snakes. Picked up a healthy-appearing import recently which is in quarantine until he checks out healthy. He sure is a pretty snake, nice copper color and an ok disposition compared to my beauty snakes.

Does anyone else own these? Any tips?

Yes, I keep 1.1 flavolineatus from Vietnam. These keep there juvenile colour when they are adulds. Rv is about 70-90% If not they have difficulty with shedding. Males eat normaly smaler prey that the female. Temperature about cool 25 degrees and warmest 28 degrees. At night normal room temperature.

Nice snakes!

best wishes Jan (Netherlands)

Here's some horrible photos of the one I got in. He's a bit fast so I have to snap shots quickly before he escapes.
