why

LMAO. Nah, it probably wouldn't kill it, but I wouldn't do it and here's why. Hybrids are interesting novelties, but like all novelties the appeal wears off quickly and all you are left with is a mutt. I'm not an anti-hybrid person, nor do I really like them all that much, but I'm hesitant just on the basis that if done they might lead to a reduction in the diversification of species.

My advice, trade/sell the borneo and get a nice BLACK sumatran...now they are hot!

I agree Black Sumatrans are great, BUT when the future may hold Bornoe's like this (see pic), well, I think it's pretty hot! I say keep the Borneo AND get a Sumatran! Heck, get a red Blood too...

Hey, I'm guilty of the same thing with animals other people own.

>>Great looking snakes man.

Thanks again! Hopefully we'll try and repeat again this season. The female breeder got all her mass back on with strong feeding this summer and then some. So, she's in good shape and maybe we'll get lucky. Time will tell...

Sure it's possible and I bet the babies would be pretty decent also. I seen this post and just couldn't resist sharing some of my latest news with everyone....

I am very proud to say that we just hatched out some pretty nice Black Blood x Borneo Blood Pythons. They can be seen on my website(follow the link on the right side of the page). Better and individual pics coming soon, but for now the crappy quality group photos have to do. Thanks for looking and good luck with your projects.

BTW, I don't check this forum very often so please email me with any questions you may have if you want a timely response.
