They all can be tamed but its weither ur ready to put up with w/e is in store for you. You will be scratched, u may be hit with a tail or even bite. It all really matters on your uros personality. They all are usaully clam so dont worry too much about it.

I don't have any reason to believe that "they all can be tamed". Each species seemd to have tendencies and individuals are indeed individuals when it comes to disposition.
Most of my Uros couldn't really be considered calm. I'd say they're always alert and some tend to flee more than others. From that list, I've had hardwickii become more tolerant over the course of a year (still not wonderful). I could only consider some of my ornates and macfads as "calm". My male ocellated is tolerant but doesn't even like to be pointed at through the glass while most of the geyri and some macfads will flee on sight.
I wouldn't bank on any single animal being outstandingly social and excessive handling may just induce fear. YMMV

all i can say is that buying cb uros is totally different, my saharans are the calmest lizards i have ever seen, they could care less about what i'm doing kinda like little dogs, i open the cage they come running out , will run all over me, eat from my hands while i put the food in , they really could care less about me , they don't see me as a threat what so ever , and they aren't fast either they walk around all slow never scared, and my egyptian occelated is just as calm not quite like the saharans but damn near the same, the only one that is kinda like that is my mali but its still a baby ,i'll post some new pics up when i have the time in the mean while here some i already have here, my egyptian occelated and mali are from lindsay pike both cb, and my saharans are from kendra one of the first cb saharans born late 2002

nicer pets ! Any lizard that ya ever get that is young should settle down, with time and patience in my opinion.
But it surely is harder and takes much more time to work with wild caughts. My Crispy, the saharan was an adult wc and like I say I have had him a long time, and hes sweet , but NERVOUS.

another thing to consider is at what age you get the animal. i have helga and hugo, both malis, both sweet to me but helga is afraid of everything and was gotten as an adult (and not well taken care of in the pet store). hugo, on the other hand, was pretty much a baby, he is such a sweetheart, climbs out of the cage on my arm, lets anyone hold him and do anything to him.
some people swear that a properly socialized egyptian can be like a dog but i can't imagine that would be easy if you got an incorrectly socialized adult. i have been whipped by an adult egyptian in a pet store and it wasn't pleasant. thank god xoco has to get used to me while he is a baby, but i have never noticed him thrashing his tail at me.
stew is still new but he is slowly coming around. i read on one website that harwickiis can be very social so i will see if i can spoil him into friendliness. right now he just "tolerates" me

My egyptian female is a sweetheart, very tame, unless ya scare her when shes sleeping she will slam that big tail if she does not see WHO is there.
But shes very friendly, as opposed to my male saharan who at times will just go into his hide, instead of getting picked up.
I have had them both for at least 5 - 6 years, and he is somewhat trusting but (Nervous) I feel Saharans/Nigerians are quite skiddish by nature.
EGYPTIANS all the way for me, LOL they may lack in color but have COOL personalities!
Just my opinion, maybe many of them are not friendly , guess ya just have to handle them each day, no matter what kind.
