New Argus/Flavi pair

I hope most of you will appreciate this great story. I was visiting my local reptile store, Exotic Amphibian and Reptile Center, here in Saint Louis, Missouri and was seeking to do a partial trade with a Timor monitor and black and gold tegu. I talked to the owner and we agreed upon a trade value. The past few weeks, I had been looking at an argus/flavi/gouldi cross they had and some baby argus/ flavi crosses every time I came in.
After about an hour of walking around the store, trying to make the important decision, and hoping that one of these would be a female(since I have a sub-adult Argus male at home, I decided to opt for store credit and table the decision. Before I did that, I asked if he had anything else and he mentioned that he had a pair of Argus/Flavi crosses downstairs in their basement. As one of the workers and I went down there, I asked him how much the owner had said he wanted for them. The guy told me the owner had said he would match the trade value of what I had brought in. I had somehow neglected to hear that in my excitement to see the big monitors they keep downstairs. Well, we got downstairs and saw the monitors. Apparently they had received them a few months ago and the owner just wanted to get rid of them because he wanted for room for the additional construction they were doing. The female is putting on weight right now because she has laid eggs in the past few months and was housed with the male for a while, she was getting bullied and had to scrap for food. The male was something else. As we approached the cage, he clawed at the front, much like any excited Argus would do when humans approach. When we opened the cage, he did not hesitate to come rushing out, anticipating food. It took two of us to wrangle him in the box. Having a ninety pound pit bull, I know what animal strength is like, but this huge four foot male was very strong. We boxed up the monitors and I received the best deal I have ever participated in-a breeding pair of Argus/Flavi crosses for seventy-five dollars of trade-in value. Where can you get a deal like that?
I work for a church and had joked with a kid this past weekend that if he didn't quit trying to talk over every one, I'd gladly put him in a cage with my Argus, Beardies, or Blackthroats. I guess this Sunday he'll have some more options to choose from! Very sweet. They are beautiful animals. I'll post pictures as soon as I can!

Hes almost 4ft long, very fast, strong animal, still nothing like my albigs for strength though in comparison.

These are the strong ones here, lol..
